Boomer was rescued in October 2017 by Rescued Treasures and the Puppy Mill Rescue Team.
Boomer was born in a puppy mill with a cleft lip. He was immediately brought to the team veterinarian to be euthanized. Aimee, was a life saver and drove from Rochester, NY to Berlin, OH to pick him up. She then tube fed him for weeks, as puppies with clefts cannot nurse. He was given around the clock care to give him a chance at life, and he prospered! Once strong enough, he was fostered with Lisa until he found his forever home.
In January of 2018, Boomer joined his forever family and made himself right at home with his bulldog siblings. His family knew instantly they hit the jackpot when they adopted him. His forever family updated us recently on his progress.
“Boomer’s personality is infectious and he steals the hearts of everyone he meets. Boomer excelled in his puppy training class and went on to earn his Canine Good Citizen title! His favorite hobbies are camping, playing fetch, and waiting for his next meal!”
The Puppy Mill Rescue Team sends special thanks to Rescued Treasures, Aimee, Lisa and all volunteers who made Boomer’s happy ending happen.
