Chip – Mount Gilead, OH
Australian Shepherd, Male, 1 year old, ThirdTyme Rescue
Chip is very friendly and affectionate. Constantly wagging his little stub of a tail. Playful but not too wild and crazy. Would do great in pretty much any home.
To adopt or learn more visit his Petfinder page.
Finkle – Bellbrook, OH
Australian Cattle Dog & German Shepherd Dog mix, Male, 10 Months old, Purebred Rescue Organization of Ohio, Inc.
Since Finkle is still a puppy, and a working breed at that, he’s still a little mouthy and his handler is working on correcting that behavior. As a result, we wouldn’t recommend him with kids under 10. He has not been cat tested but he’s great with other dogs.
FINKLE has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in adopting him, please apply at www.purebredrescueorganiza
Halle – Corning, NY
Schnauzer, Female, 4 years old, Tanner’s P.A.W.S.
I was recently rescued by my friends at Tanners P.A.W.S. and am looking for my FUREVER home. I am good with dogs, cats but prefer a home with dog experienced children 6 and older. My foster mom says I am a really good and active girl- but some of these new noises still scare me- which is usual for a puppy mill mom like me. I enjoy relaxing with my foster family, going for walks (I am leash trained) and playing with my FURsiblings. My favorite color is PINK- I think it makes me glamorus and fabulous- and who wouldn’t want to feel like that? I am still working on housebreaking- but hey that’s to be expected as this is all new to me. I am a good girl on car rides and am crate trained.

Mako – Westfield, NY
Pomsky, Male, Under 1 year, Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue
Mako is very friendly and playful. He is in foster care and made fast friends with Samara, a puppy mill husky that is not ready for adoption yet; so he would likely do great in a home with another dog. Mako loves the outdoors, but may have the tendency to wander if loose, so a fenced yard is needed for this fella. As Mako has not been in a home until now, he will need work on housetraining and basic obedience, but he will be worth the work as he has all the qualities to be an excellent companion! Mako is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an adoption application which you’ll find at caninerescue.org.
