The Puppy Mill Rescue Team would like to introduce Ashley Porter, who will be now sitting on the Puppy Mill Rescue Team board.
Many of you may know Ashley, since she is no stranger to helping puppy mill dogs. Ashley has been with the team from the very beginning. She was working at clinics in areas we were rescuing from at the time the Puppy Mill Rescue Team was forming and was a huge help.
Ashley comes to us with a strong background of animal care and compassion as well. She has always had animal related jobs and had spent 18 years being a veterinary assistant. The past three years though, she has been the Deputy Dog Warden and Humane Office in Holmes county. In that position she is involved with licensing, cruelty complaints and breeding kennels.
Ashley’s passion for animals is also found in her home, which she has two Shar Pei mixes, two cats and various farm animals. She shares her home with her two children Cole and Rylee, along with husband John.
Please help us in welcoming Ashley and we are excited to see how she pushes our team further.
